Picture This

Inspiring sTREEt art...

I love it.

Note from the Dreamkeeper:
Though Manifestation Nation does not endorse the destruction of public or private property
through the creation of street art
we endorse (with whole heart and soul) the creation of inspiring messages and images
by whatever means necessary.
I could not love this message more.

YOU
ARE
BEAUTIFUL

Pass it along...

Collection Eight

On back:
I want to take the path less traveled.

On back:
I spent my 40th birthday in Vegas.
Nothing happened that I had to leave there.
I wish it had.

Via E-mail:
Brenda loves Dylan loves Kelly loves Brandon.
I wish for one Wednesday night I was a teenager again.

On back:
I believe in the roots I have grown.

On back:
I had to leave something behind to find something new.
I am so grateful.
I dreamed of THIS life.
 The one I am living.

Via e-mail, text reads:
After miscarrying twice in the last year I question
if I will ever hold her.
She is my dream.

Via e-mail:
A few years ago I bought a book at a yard sale.
When I got home I found a postcard tucked within its pages.
It was a postcard of the attached photo,
Georgia O'Keeffe's "White Trumpet Flower."
The message read:

I tried to call you to say goodbye.
I wish you had answered the phone.
I will wait for you to call.

I looked for the postcard to send it to you but couldn't find it.
I think the owner kept it because they wished they'd answered too.
I like to believe there was a happy ending.

Submitted by the Dreamkeeper:
I dream of balance.

Note from the Dreamkeeper:
As always, I thank everyone who participates in this project with my whole heart.
It is my hope that Manifestation Nation serves not only as an inspiration for the reader
but validation for the dreamer as well.

I see you
and your big, beautiful, soulful hopes and wishes and dreams too.
You dream it.
I believe it.

Show me with pictures.
Tell me with words.
Put it on a postcard or attach it to an e-mail.

Collection Seven

Via e-mail:
This is a picture of the "Drowsy" baby doll I had when I was four.
I just bid on her on E-Bay.
I hope I win.

Via e-mail:
I bid on the coloring book too.

On back:
I dream of a better world for us.

On back:
If I had a flower for every time I thought about her
this is what it would look like.
I wish she knew.

On back:
There ain't no mountain high enough,
Ain't no valley low enough,
Ain't no river wide enough,
To keep me from getting to you.

Via e-mail:
I wish boys weren't so shallow.

Via e-mail:
Still dreaming of opening that sweet shop.
Applying for a small business loan to make it happen.

On back:
I wish I could make fear of failure disappear.

Submitted by the Dreamkeeper
"Ask the next person you see what their passion is,
and share your inspiring dream with them."
I love this.

Note from the Dreamkeeper:
I love this project with all of my heart.
I continue to be humbled and inspired by the dreams shared here.
In a world where it's easy to see our differences I find comfort in bearing witness to the unifying thread running through each of us.
We all dream, wish, hope, pray, long for, need and desire things we hope will make us happier, healthier or more complete in some way.
I dream we each find our way to fully realizing that which we want to manifest.
Dreaming of it is not enough.
Vision, decision, action, fruition.
Make it happen.

Collection Eight will be posted Monday, May 16, 2011.

Picture This

"Picture This"
is a collection of street art
photographed and submitted by the
readers, dreamers and believers of
Manifestation Nation.

Art which moves, inspires and soothes.

This is a photo I took this morning of a farmhouse
not far from where I live.

Photographer unknown

This is a photo of the same house prior to
September 11, 2001

The couple who own the century old home are
a sheet metal worker and an artist.
In the days following September 11th they went looking for an American flag to display in front of their home.
The flag they brought home,
"Looked so small on this big house.
We decided to do something a little bigger.
It was like a personal therapy,
to help us feel better about what happened."

Collection Six

On back:
I wish we could afford to take family trips
and I wish I wasn't envious of my friends who do.

Via E-Mail
Caption reads:
I dream of sunshine on my face,
sand under my feet
and the Pacific lapping at my toes.

On back:
I hope I don't drop anything while I am trying to balance everything.

On back:
I hope that my mother remembers she is beautiful everyday.

On back:
I believe there is always a creative solution
if I think about it hard enough.

On back:
I hope the universe keeps sending me signs
and that I pay attention to more of them.

On back:
I wish he would just kiss me.

On back:
I wish...for a shorter tunnel.

It is the tradition of the Dreamkeeper that the last entry of each collection is one of my own.
I couldn't decide
so both of the manifestations below are...
mine.

On back:
I believe she would be my best friend even if she wasn't my sister.

On back:
I dream there is enough time
to set free
all of the dreams
inside of me.

Note from the Dreamkeeper:
The photo below is where I receive all mail for Manifestation Nation.
It is with both anticipation and excitement that I peek in the tiny window before spinning the dial
as I never know what treasures are waiting inside.
Thank you to both the dreamers and the readers who make Manifestation Nation possible.

You may also submit your manifestation via e-mail.
Please include a picture as an attachment.

Collection Five

On back:
"Piazza della Repubblica, Rome"
I dream of walking the streets of Rome with someone I love.

On back:
Someone I love needs a cure.
I pray it is discovered.

On back:
I wish I wasn't raising him alone.

On back:
I dream of owning my own business.

Note from the Dreamkeeper:
This was one of those 3-D postcards that when you tilt it to the side the image changes slightly. The scan made it blurry.
On back:
I wish I was as confident as I pretend to be.

On back:
Art by Ryden
We have been trying to get pregnant for months.
I hope it happens soon.

Note from the Dreamkeeper:
I wish this card had scanned as beautiful as it really is. Hand painted with visible layer upon layer of brushstrokes and accented with glitter. It truly is a piece of (he)art work.
On back:
I dream he listens to my whisper so I won't have to roar.

On back:
I hope she knows she will always be protected.

On back:
Dear Dreamkeeper,
I love your site. I have many dreams and when I figure out which one is most important I am going to make it happen.
 Good luck with this project.

As always, this last submission is my own...

Pretty much says it all.

Important note from the Dreamkeeper:
As of today Manifestation Nation will accept your dream, hope, wish, aspiration, prayer, belief, or heart's desire via e-mail as well as in our traditional postcard form. Please include an image as an attachment. Though your submission will not be anonymous your privacy is always protected here.

Taken under a freeway in Los Angeles, California.

I love this.

And...

YES YOU ARE!

You are beautiful.

And...

So are your wishes.

And your dreams.

And your hopes.

And your aspirations.

And your heart's desires.

Collection Four

On back:
Five auditions, four call backs.
I want someone to say yes.

For S., B. and A.

On back:
I wish that too.

On back:
I wish I could tell my vegetarian friends that I still eat BACON!

On back:
When I graduate at the end of this month, I will have time to read the stack of books growing next to my bed.
I WANT to read them all.

Note from the Dreamkeeper:
This isn't a postcard, it is a photo. E-mailed to me with the following as the subject line:
"And here I shall dwell."
Marin, California

As always, the last postcard is submitted by the Dreamkeeper:

As I closed my eyes and made a wish it was this...
I hope my family knows how much I love them. I hope my friends know how much they mean to me. As the sum of all of my experiences I have been shaped by each of them.
I am so blessed.

Note from the Dreamkeeper:
I continue to be amazed at the support for this (he)art project.
Thank you for sharing your dreams, hopes, aspirations, longings and heart's desires.
Please help share the love by suggesting this site to your friends.
